Our Yukon Rig Mats
are specially designed to provide a temporary access solution. Depending
on the site soil conditions, the Yukon Rig Mats come in a couple of
thicknesses. The Yukon
Rig Mat material is comprised of crumb rubber, urethane and fibre from
recycled motor vehicle tires which make the Rig Mats stable, secure and very long
lasting. Each Yukon Rig Mat
is molded into sections, and can be designed with
a variety of options. The body of each
Yukon Rig Mat section has an embedded patented rigid spine,
this makes
our Yukon
Rig Mats
extremely durable and virtually indestructible. The surface of the
Yukon Rig Mat is textured to provide excellent traction for all types
of traffic and have been proven to be the best solution for long term
use under some of the most unruly site conditions and usages.
Our History...Champagne Edition
Inc. was founded by Alan Champagne, CEO in, 1992. The company is an
industry leader in the recycling of Canadian passenger vehicle tires and
the manufacturing of high value,
end use, recycled rubber products
branded
Eco-Flex®, which are sold throughout Canada and the world. We operate
out of a 30,000 square foot plant, which is situated 30
minutes north of
Edmonton, Alberta and utilize 11 million pounds of material per month
which equals 500,000 tires per month. To date Champagne Edition Inc. has
been responsible for recycling over 33 million passenger car tires.
Our RIG MAT Commitment...A single
Eco-Flex® Yukon Rig Mat is made from approximately 165 recycled rubber tires.
With industries being pushed to use sustainable products made from
recycled materials now there is another solution other than Rig Mats
made from composite, steel and wood. The
rubber crumb recycled from
tires is primary petroleum based; using a material base like this in our
Yukon Rig Mats proves to be a perfect sustainable product for the Oil & Gas
Industry and along with many other industries too. By using recyclable materials in any business activity offers a better marketing image to
the general public and your customers, plus our rubber Yukon Rig Mats are
proven to be higher quality in comparison to conventional manufacturing techniques
and materials. Plus, our manufacturing facility is committed for the
consumer demand, with the ability to produce up to 12,000 Yukon Rig Mats annually.
